Fresh made mini pancakes (poffertjes) are a unique Dutch delicacy. Dutch cuisine is not very well known, however it is still exciting, flavorful and the best part is that it is filled with history and culture!

Poffertjes (Mini pancakes) are a major part of Holland's traditions. They are an integral part of national holidays, summer festivals and general fun celebrations. Eating mini pancakes is a way of celebrating for the people of Holland.

Poffertjes are traditionally served with sugar, chunk of butter and any sauce, in a row of 10. I chose to put nutella and powdered sugar on mine!

In Dubai you can find 'mini pancakes' in every festival, events, in global village and now even open in malls. Watch them whip and flip the batter behind the counter.

Holland's mini pancakes are deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, you will love every bite of it! if you are not a chocolate lover, there are many other options for you.

You can experience the traditional taste of Holland pancakes even if you are in Dubai. The ingredients come all the way from Holland so they can make it taste a 100% authentic. I would highly recommend this place as it is one of my favorites.
