CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY TURKISH COOKING AT MADO!

MADO RESTAURANT & CAFE, JUMEIRAH 3- DUBAI

Mado Restaurant & Cafe, opened its second branch in Dubai, in Jumeirah. It is a well known Turkish restaurant and cafe from turkey. It is located in the heart of Jumeirah, Mado, is easily accessible. It is sprawled across two floors and can easily seat 300 guests.

As you enter the restaurant, you will notice all the Turkish inspired decor, straight from Turkey. In Turkish culture decor and designing is very common and Turkish designs are admired by people from all over the world. The interior of the restaurant has a slight modern and Traditional touch and influence.

Mado is not only a restaurant, it also specializes in Turkish food products, traditional sweets and bakery products too! The bakery and sweets section is located on the ground floor, where everything is show cased. You can purchase or oder all sorts of Turkish traditional sweets, nuts, chocolates and ice creams from there.

The restaurant offers breakfast services, home delivery service and take away items, such as; Turkish sweets, bakery items and ice creams. What i love about Mado's ice cream is that it is so authentic as it is made at the company's own farm in the Turkish city, Kahramanmarash, using 100% natural products, with no preservatives or flavors.

The menu of Mado features classic and contemporary Turkish cooking. It offers a variety of soups, cold and hot mezze, salads, flat breads, grilled kebabs and the main part, desserts!

We tried a few items and they had the perfect authentic taste, exactly like the food you would find in the streets of Istanbul! I loved every dish that I tried, however what i loved more than anything was the dessert.

I tried a variety of Turkish Baklavas, they are well-known all over the world and contain a story to tell with them as they were part of their traditions and culture. I also tried the Kunafa and the amazing ice creams. The Turkish ice cream had a very rich and unique flavor, holding a long history of 300 years.

When we asked for the cheque, they told us we couldn't leave without trying the authentic Turkish coffee, and we could not say no to that. The coffee was aromatic and strong, just as expected.
