THE FOOD:
There was a wide variety of Indian food, however I only tried the main street food, which was the "Dahi Batata Puchkas" and "Balam Puchkari".
"Dahi Batata Puchkas"
"Dahi Batata Puchkas" was the name given to the famous dish of India, called "Meethi Poori" Meethi poori is a deep fried Indian bread (Poori) made out of flour, which is served with tea as snacks. They are very common and easily found on the streets of India.
Inside the Poori it is filled with spiced potatoes and is served drizzled with yoghurt and tamarind chutney (sauce).
"Balam Puchkari"
"Balam Puchkari" was the name given to another one of India's most popular dishes, called "Golagappas" or "Pani poori", they are deep fried Poori's made out of flour and served as a snack, or found anywhere in the city. They are puffed flour and semolina discs filled with spice moong potatoes, served with chills lemon and minted water. With the Poori came two sauces, one sweet and one sour. The one on the left side is the, sour sauce and the one in the middle is the sweet one. To create the perfect Pani Poori, you need to add both of them.
THE RESTAURANT:
This is a Bollywood themed restaurant. When you enter inside and look to the right you can find images of the most famous Bollywood actors and their movies. To your left are quotes from famous movies, put together.
