Argentinian Street Food- Argentinian Empanadas
About Empanadas
Empanadas are traditional stuffed pastries that are Hispanic. Originally they come from the Northern Spanish region of Galicia, but over time they have been spread and became very popular, in all the other Hispanic countries. All of them have their own regional variations too.
Argentinian Empanadas/ Traditional Argentinian food
Argentinian street food and Argentinian food, in general is well known around the world for it's simple, yet strong and rich flavors.
I had the Argentinian Empanadas and they are said to be one of the best in the world. They follow the trend of the traditional Argentinian food by following this trend and providing a filling and tasteful taste. They could be eaten as a snack or a whole meal.
In Argentinian religion empanadas are associated with religious festivals, for example fish filled empanadas are served at Lent and Easter.
The taste
The empanada dough was browned and hardened from the outside, and from the inside it was soft. It had the pure authentic flavor of Argentinian food! It was straight out of the oven and was very fresh. Available on the streets and had many different flavors, from traditional authentic ones to other modern twists of empanadas.
