About the restaurant

Novikov, a luxurious, grand, fine-dining restaurant, in Sheraton Grand Hotel- World Trade Centre, offers you a trendy pan-asian style cuisine. Serves you Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian and Thai classic tastes with a slight modern twist.

The origin of Novikov is from Russia and It is amongst one of London's and Moscow's favorite elite hotspots. Known for its atmosphere and elite Pan-Asian cuisine. After Novikov being a huge success in other countries, it finally opens it's doors to Dubai in the Sheraton Grand Hotel.

As you enter the restaurant, the doors open up to a grand entrance with a stunning red carpet. Novikov has one of the best entrances and is the hardest to beat in Dubai. From the lobby, up the lift you are taken into the restaurant. Dim lights with sleek tables, a very elegant looking restaurant.

About the food:

The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, it offers Pan-Asian cuisine. The menu is extensive with sections of soups, appetizers, salads, dum sums- steamed and fried, sushi, sashimi, fish, noodles, tempura and some dishes from the wok and grill.

In terms of cuisine, Novikov was not very authentic it had a fusion and was more towards the modern side.

What I ordered:

For the starters we started off with some spicy edamame and crunchy shrimp.

Then we went to the main-course, we had chicken & morel sui mai, which was a dimsum with chicken and mushroom. Then we had miso baby chicken the creativity and quality of it was excellent! The last one we had was the Novikov black black cod, it is their classic dish that everyone must try!

Dessert:

They said you could not leave without trying their mouth-watering dessert, so we ordered shira tama sphere. As they poured the sauce it opened up and was delicious. Not a very big serving, but perfect for two people.

Drinks:
